Big Bang Kpop

I really really like kpop, like in a disturbing way.  One of the most iconic groups is Big Bang.  They have some two of the best writers in TOP and G-dragaon.  They also have some of the best fashion.  Whether he is looking cool or has a stupid hair cut, Taeyang is always looking reslpendint in Givency.  Like seriously it is all he wears.  It is okay.  It is not like the only think he wears is Big Dog t shirts (not that there is anything wrong with that).  TOP always is cool with his ironic outfits and his my shit don’t stink attitude.  Boring as all fooksticks in concert though.

G-dragon reminds me of a combination of Michael Jackson and Ruby Rod.  All good in my book.

They wear some of the coolest clothes too.

Running Man Korea

Running Man is a great movie, but it also is a great korean television show.

The show focuses on a group of celebrities that do various physical challenges that typically culminates with a game of tag.

The main group of famous folks is supported by a weekly guests.

 

It definitely wants me to make a gym that allows grown ups to play grown up tag.

Again with the Dollhouse

Why does everyone one like the Epitaph episode so much?  I thought it was by far one of the weaker episodes.  I’m not saying it is bad, it is just poor in comparison.  It can add a weird flow when that wasn’t normally aired as I watched it (sequentially) however it still was jarringly different.

I think that was a fairly obvious end game and I don’t dislike the concept.

I’m interested to see how season 2 relates back to this.  I guess we’ll see.

Also, why isn’t Tudyk in more roles?  That guy is great.

Dollhouse redux

It is pretty cool that they were able to get Obama to be on this show.  His role is really quite interesting and he definitely brings a certain gravitas to the cast.  It would be nice if Obama did kungfu in real life, as it would help his image.  I think that he should also drink more malt  liquor on the show, it would help show off is masculnity.  Definitely needs a sweater vest as well.

Dollhouse

This is a ridiculously good show. Almost done with the first season. Not quite sure why this would ever be cancelled. Fox be dumb or maybe Jos shouldn’t do stuff with fox. Wonder if he’lll face those kinds of issues going forward.

I do feel bad for November, chubby chick had it going on but now has a broken heart.

The tech in this show really gets into transhumanism, which is a fascinating topic. The rpg Eclipse Phase is one of those items that explores it.

I need to catch up on this show.  I went through the first 30 or so (which was the complete show at the time) and then promptly forgot about it.

There was some seriously creepy shizzle in the first episodes.  The part in the abandoned house when the masked person charged.  Freaked my shit out.

So tonight while I pretend to work, I shall atch them allllllllll

X-Com please let me sleep

I picked up the newish xcom game last weekend, and time has accelerated.  My beard has grown but I haven’t slept.  Must put the contoller down, but i can’t.  Also, classic ironman is ridonk.

 

Definitely miss the old version though.

Sarah Connor Chronicles

I just finished this entire show over the last week (yay amazon prime), and I think they really wasted a pretty good property.

 

I don’t get how this flows with the existing movies.  John was no longer a complete vagina by the end of T2 but appears to be by the start of the show.  Also, Sarah be dumb.  Literally every decision she makes is completely wrong.

 

It seems that the premise really breaks down when you have the characters move away from the film formats (basically solo zombie movie) to focus on character development.  The problem is the above..John = vagina + Sarah = dumb.

 

And finally, I think they should play Sex Robot any time Summer Glau is on screen.  That is all.
